Reinventing the Bike Shed’ is an exhibition to be part of the London Architecture Biennale, 16th-25th June.
The London Architecture Biennale is a festival grounded in the fabric and history of London, but one that looks to the positive aspects of change and renewal through contemporary architecture.
‘Reinventing the Bike Shed’ brings together a range of exhibits and events which highlight and illustrate the critical issue of inner city cycling. New parking solutions for the most efficient and least selfish form of transport are way overdue.
Cycling is on a roll, and parking needs to catch up.
Reinventing the Bike Shed includes:
An exhibition on innovative and radical new solutions to improving the street landscape and bike security
The launch of the international Reinventing the Bike Shed competition
Exhibition of selected entries from the UK Design Students Reinventing the Bike Shed competition, including entries selected for prototype production and installation in the borough of Southwark.
Latest urban street wear
Anti- theft demonstrations by former bike thieves working with the Central St. Martins Design teams.
